Economic-indicator entities are the measured statistics and data series this atlas documents, from headline figures such as GDP and the unemployment rate through specialized indices and survey measures, grouped into nine functional domains: Prices and Inflation, Labor Market, Output and Growth, Business and Consumer Sentiment, Housing and Construction, Money, Credit and Financial Markets, Trade and External Balance, Government and Fiscal, and Inequality and Development. This band is where a reader browses economics by what is actually measured and tracked, distinct from the concept an indicator may operationalize and from the institution, such as a central bank or statistical agency, that publishes it.
