Kroll Bond Rating Agency, known as KBRA, is an American credit rating agency headquartered in New York City, founded in 2010 by Jules Kroll, who had earlier built and sold the investigations firm Kroll Inc., together with co-founder Jim Nadler. KBRA is registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a Nationally Recognized Statistical Rating Organization and rates issuers and structured transactions across the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region.
